In the context of this website, ‘Donate Seattle’ (‘we’ or ‘us’) refers to the providers of this service.
Donate Seattle permits the free use of this website for individuals, businesses and other organizations. In using this service in any way, visitors to this site (‘you’) are agreeing with and agreeing to comply with the Terms of Service and Conditions of Use (‘Terms’) as stated in this document.
Donate Seattle may revise these Terms at any time by updating this document and posting it on the website. You are responsible for regularly reviewing the Terms. If you continue to use the service after any changes, you are consenting to such changes. In accepting these Terms you are also agreeing to our Privacy Policy. If, at any time, you do not agree to these Terms, you must cease your use of this website.
1. Registration Agreement for Nonprofit Organizations wishing to register with Donate Seattle:
Donate Seattle permits the free use of this website and the establishment of a link to your website on condition that you accept the Terms as listed below:
You must register with Donate Seattle in order to have your organization information listed on this site. You are solely responsible for posting/updating your listing content. You will remain solely responsible for each item of content that you post, email or otherwise make available through the service under your organization name.
You must not post content that is offensive, unlawful, threatening, abusive, misleading, inaccurate, indecent or harmful to minors in any way. You must not post content that violates any state or local policies or laws.
Donate Seattle reserves the right to delete or edit any information listed on the site that it may determine violates, or may violate, the Terms or is otherwise unacceptable.
Donate Seattle will post registrations from any nonprofit organization, public or private school, or public agency serving the community in Western Washington. Nonprofit organizations that register need to have 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status with the Internal Revenue Service. During the registration process you will be asked to provide your EIN (tax identification number).
When your registration (application to use the service) is submitted and we have received proof of your 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status with the Inland Revenue Service, your listing will go through an approval process and will appear on our site, usually within 2 working days. You agree to provide us with accurate, complete information.
When your registration is approved, you may edit your listing by confirming in writing (email/Fax or mail) the changes you would like to be made. We request that you limit the number of times you edit your donation requirements to four times in a 12 month period. You may update your organization contact information in writing as often as is necessary. In any case, the changes will be made, usually, within 2 working days.
You will not hold Donate Seattle in any way responsible for the condition, quality, accuracy, safety, warranty, and merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or suitability of services or in-kind donations received from third parties as a result of using this service.
You will not include links to commercial services or websites other than that of your own nonprofit organization.
You accept that Donate Seattle is not responsible for the actions of third parties who may contact your organization as a result of using this service.
This Registration Agreement is effective until terminated. You may terminate this Registration Agreement at any time by emailing info@donateseattle.org or by any other method which provides written confirmation of your identity and your intention to terminate.
2. Information for ALL Individuals, businesses and organizations (including nonprofit organizations) that may use the service:
If at any time you do not agree to these Terms, you must cease your use of this website.
You may use the service provided through this website free of charge as a means to obtaining information about the nonprofit organizations that have registered on this site. The aim of Donate Seattle is to enable potential donors to identify the types of in-kind donations nonprofit organizations registered on our site would like to receive. Donate Seattle is not a ‘clearing house’ and does not have the facilities or means to store or deliver items of any nature.
You accept that all postings on this site or links through the service are the sole responsibility of the person from whom the content originated. Donate Seattle is not responsible for content made available through the service.
Search results are listed alphabetically. The decision to donate to a particular nonprofit organization listed on this site is solely the decision of the donor and should in no way be influenced by Donate Seattle.
Donate Seattle does not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, error free or that defects in the service will be corrected. Donate Seattle reserves the right to modify, suspend or discontinue all or any aspect of the site or service at any time, without prior notice or liability. We shall not be liable to you or any third party if we discontinue, modify or suspend the service. If you object to any such changes, your only recourse shall be to cease using the service. Continued use of the service following any such changes will indicate your acknowledgement of such changes and satisfaction with the modified service. You also acknowledge that any screening of the content of the site by Donate Seattle is done as a courtesy only.
Your interactions with organizations and/or individuals found on or through the service, including delivery of goods or services and any other terms, conditions or warranties are solely your own responsibility. You should investigate thoroughly before proceeding with any transaction or interaction with third parties found through this service. You accept that Donate Seattle will not become involved in any disputes whatsoever arising as a result of any transaction or interaction as a result of using this service. Donate Seattle will not be liable or responsible for loss, damage or injury of any sort incurred as the result of your correspondence or ensuing relationship with nonprofit organizations or other third parties found on or through the service or as a result of their presence on this site. Terms or conditions associated with such contact or events are strictly between you and such third parties.
Donate Seattle reserves the right to allow third parties to provide any necessary services in order to enable us to provide the service.
Listings from nonprofit organizations or individuals seeking donations for personal purposes will not be accepted by Donate Seattle.
Donate Seattle reserves the right to refuse to offer services to anyone at anytime without notice.
You may not copy, modify, publish or broadcast any of the text, logos or images contained on this website without prior permission from Donate Seattle.

Links to all third-party websites are provided as a convenience to you and not as an endorsement by Donate Seattle.
